SEAWEED CYCLE
I experimented for a semester on biopolymers and how to work with it as a design material. I created a receipt book and a short movie showing my process around a seaweed cycle.
My project is a mechanical seaweeds cycle. I use seaweeds to transform it in a domestic container. A domestic design that has a natural lifetime, day after day, the container shrinks until being thrown back in water where it disintegrates.
As a designer I find necessary today to learn how to use nature without possess it.
* With this project I added the film of one of my performance around the tidal rhythm, made on the same beach as the project Seaweed Cycle. It is a performance including food and visual contemplation.
